Breeding and Puppies

Puppy inquiries are always welcome. We breed when we desire new show prospects, so litters may be limited. If you are interested in Clumbers please fill out the contact us form.

Puppies are evaluated around 12-16 weeks, and would be placed after evaluation. We do not take deposits until puppies are evaluated and chosen; payment in full is due when puppy is placed.

Our dogs have OFA hips, elbows and CERF eye done. There is a concern in dog breeds today about HD (hip dysplasia). This is a valid concern, especially in breeds that are crippled at an early age with HD. There is conflicting information from researchers on the cause of HD, it is most likely caused not only from genetic predisposition, but may also be due to environmental issues (over-weight, to much stress on joints during the growth phase). All puppies that go to companion homes are sold on a contract and Limited Registration from AKC. Limited Registration just means that AKC will not recognize any puppies from a dog that has LR, and the dog cannot be shown. Dogs with LR may participate in all performance events (obedience, rally, hunt test, agility, barn hunt and lure coursing).
